Company Theatre
Presents Regional Premiere of
Tony Award Winning "Spamalot"

The Company Theatre will present the a regional premiere of the Tony Award winning musical "Monty Python’s Spamalot," from July 26 - August 18, at The Company Theatre Centre for the Arts, 30 Accord Park Drive, just off Route 228 in Norwell. The production will be directed by Zoe Bradford and Jordie Saucerman, and choreographed by Sally Forrest, with music direction by Michael Joseph.

The show's book is by longtime Python member Eric Idle, with lyrics by Idle and music by Idle, John Du Prez and Neil Innes. The original Broadway production -- led by Tim Curry and David Hyde Pierce -- opened in 2005, ran for four years and was seen by more than two million people.

Hailed by The New Yorker as a “no-holds-barred smash hit”, the irreverent "Spamalot" is “lovingly ripped off” from the classic film "Monty Python and the Holy Grail." Rife with many of the trademark naughty bits, the musical retells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, featuring everything from dazzling show girls to killer rabbits. "Spamalot" raises silliness to a comic art form with madcap hijinks, medieval sight gags and comical production numbers.
