Theatre Announces 2013-2014 Shows Fiddlehead Theatre Company, with the support of Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino, have announced their new status as Resident Company of The Strand Theatre. Fiddlehead's 2013 - 14 season will feature Andrew Lippa’s "Little Princess" from November 21 - December 8, 2013 along with Elton John and Tim Rice’s "Aida" from April 24 - May 11, 2014. In a statement, Mayor Menino said, “I'm delighted Fiddlehead Theatre Company’s 2013 - 14 season will be as Resident Company of The Strand Theatre, especially following the success of 'Ragtime.' The City invests in The Strand because we recognize that it is an irreplaceable part of Dorchester’s community and culture.” Fiddlehead Theatre’s Producing Artistic Director Meg Fofonoff added, “Fiddlehead Theatre Company is proud to be Resident Company of The Strand Theatre. We look forward to collaborating with Dorchester and the City of Boston in 'Building Community Through the Arts.' 'Ragtime' was just the beginning of our journey. We look forward to The Strand being our home for both next year’s musicals and for many years to come.
