Broadway Takes Up Residency
Summer Sessions Begin July 19
Camp Broadway, Broadway’s Original Summer Camp, is presenting three five-day musical theater camps for youngsters at the North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly during July and August. Participants will learn songs, scenes and choreography from Broadway shows, culminating in a musical revue for family and friends.
New facility owner and producer, Bill Hanney invited Camp Broadway to offer its acclaimed program at the theater this summer as the first step in his long-range commitment to restore quality theater arts programming for young audiences.
Hanney commented, “North Shore Music Theatre has a long and distinguished tradition of providing area children with opportunities to learn about and experience the theatre. Having Camp Broadway at North Shore this summer enables us to establish a direct link with Broadway and offer families the best in music theatre training.”
