Merrimack Rep Wine Tasting On March 9

The Friends of MRT (Merrimack Repertory Theatre) will host the second annual Merrimack Rep Wine Tasting on Tuesday, March 9, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Stonehedge Inn in Tyngsboro.

For the fundraiser, Stonehedge Inn’s management team will select their “Top 25” wines. The event will be held in the Left Bank dining room, providing guests a cozy, social environment in which to explore and increase their knowledge of different wines, all of which will be available for purchase. Light hors d’oeuvres will also be served.

Tickets to the event are $45 and may be purchased by calling 978-654-7552. Proceeds from the event support Merrimack Repertory Theatre’s mainstage productions and education programs.

The Friends of MRT is an auxiliary fundraising group that hosts special events, social functions and fund drives. The group plays a pivotal role in strengthening Merrimack Repertory Theatre’s base of support by introducing new people to MRT and making events like this possible. Members enjoy the opportunity to network with other theatre lovers while enjoying a variety of social activities. The season at Merrimack Rep continues with: "The Last Days of Mickey & Jean" by Richard Dresser, March 18- April 11; and "The Blonde, The Brunette and The Vengeful Redhead" by Robert Hewett, April 22- May 16. The theater is located in downtown Lowell at 50 E. Merrimack Street in Liberty Hall.
