Cutler Majestic Presents
"My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish . . ."
July 23 - August 2

Direct from its sold-out, extended Off-Broadway run, the award-winning "My Mother’s Italian, My Father’s Jewish & I’m In Therapy" comes to the Cutler Majestic Theatre from July 23 – August 2. The one-man production stars the show’s creator, veteran comic Steve Solomon.

Solomon combines comic voices, sound effects and astounding characterizations to personify the wacky side of the human condition through more than thirty characters. Audiences will meet Mom, Dad, his sister the smoker, the kids’ cousin Carmine, Uncle Paulie, demented Kenny . . . all whose sole purpose was to drive Steve into therapy. And they succeeded!

Directed by Broadway and television director John Bowab, "I'm In Therapy" is one part lasagna, one part kreplach and two parts prozac. You don’t have to be Jewish or Italian to enjoy this show. All you need is to know is what it feels like to leave a family dinner with heartburn and a headache.

Steve (and the crazy voices of his family and friends) have played to sold out houses in 49 cities throughout the United States and Canada, at venues including the Little Shubert Theatre in NYC, Kravis Center in West Palm Beach, the Broward Center in Ft. Lauderdale, the Brentwood Theatre in Los Angeles, the Hilton and Resorts International Hotel and Casinos in Atlantic City, the Winter Garden in Toronto and the Place des Arts in Montreal.

Variety has said “Steve is Alan King, Billy Crystal, a smidgen of Don Rickles and George Carlin all thrown in.”

For tickets and information, stop by the Cutler Majestic box office at 219 Tremont Street, call 1-800-233-3123 or visit www.maj.org.
