Gold Dust Orphans Presents
"Of Mice and Mink"
February 20 - March 21

The Gold Dust Orphans are gearing up for their 43rd production, a little tale called "Of Mice and Mink," set to play Machine from February 20 - March 21.

As die-hard fans know, The Orphans, led by Ryan Landry, have dedicated their creative lives to providing quality work for the discerning palette for more than a decade. They want you to know that "Of Mice and Mink" may prove to be their most classic work to date.

Written by Ryan Landry (and freely adapted from the classic novella by John Steinbeck), the production is directed by James P. Byrne. Machine is located at 1254 Boylston Street in Boston.

"Of Mice and Mink" tells the tragi-comic story of Georgie (Larry Coen) and Linda (Rick Park), two not-so-pretty hookers living through the current not-so-great depression without a friend to lean on or a pot pee in.

Entertaining delusions of one day getting out, the heroines arrive at "Lula Mae's Cat Ranch," a bottom-of-the-barrel brothel on "the wrongest" side of town. The situations and characters they find there prove less than desirable.

While Georgie tries her best to keep their thin web of dreams from crumbling, Linda (a woman-child in the body of a dangerously powerful She Hulk) is of no help. Naturally, when tragedy strikes, it seems obvious that the mentally challenged Linda is responsible . . . or is she? The answer awaits.

"Of Mice and Mink" will also star such Orphan favorites as Afrodite, Penny Champayne, Olive Another, Audrey Abrams, Liza Doo Nothing, Bananas Foster, Keith Orr and, of course, Ryan Landry.
