"Say It With Music"
At Reagle Players October 2 - 4

Broadway, London and national tour performers Kirby and Beverly Ward will headline a cast of 40 when Reagle Players present their 9th Edition of the Irving Berlin revue "Say It With Music." Framed against an art deco setting, "Say It with Music" will play Robinson Theater, 617 Lexington Street in Waltham, on October 2 at 7:30 p.m., October 3rd at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and October 4th at 2 p.m.

The Wards, who appeared at Reagle in "Crazy for You," starred together on Broadway as Frank and Ellie in "Show Boat." Kirby also starred in the London production of "Crazy for You," playing for and meeting the Queen and Queen Mother. As Director, Kirby was the creative force behind Reagle's award winning Best Musical production of "Singin’ in the Rain."

The duo’s “Fred and Ginger” partnering and their inimitable skills are a callback to the classic days of Hollywood musicals. "Say It with Music" explores Berlin’s expansive canon through a variety of his styles including bandstand music, minstrel show syncopations, sounds of the war years, Broadway hits, patriotic anthems, echoes of "The Ziegfeld Follies" and famed melodies from his Hollywood years.

"Say It with Music" includes such Berlin classics as: "Alexander’s Ragtime Band," "When That Midnight Choo Choo Leaves For Alabam’," "Everybody’s Doin’ It," "Mandy," "I Left My Heart at The Stage Door Canteen," "Heat Wave," "There’s No Business Like Show Business," "They Say That Falling In Love Is Wonderful," "I Wonder Why," "What’ll I Do?," "God Bless America," "I Love A Piano," "A Pretty Girl Is Like A Melody," "Easter Parade," "White Christmas" and dozens of others.
