Huntington Offers $27 One Day Sale
For Season's First Three Shows

In honor of the Huntington Theatre Company’s 27th season and in celebration of new artistic director Peter DuBois’ arrival, the Huntington will offer $27 tickets to the first three shows of its 2008-2009 Season during a one-day sale on Tuesday, August 19. Purchases may be made online, by phone, or in person at either of the two box office locations.

Discount tickets are available for the selected performances below:

Richard Nelson’s highly entertaining and theatrical
“How Shakespeare Won the West”
September 5, 6, 7, 9, 10

Oscar-nominated Jose Rivera’s lyrical portrait of marriage
“Boleros for the Disenchanted”
October 10, 11, 12, 14

Tom Stoppard’s recent Broadway hit
“Rock ‘n’ Roll”
November 7, 8, 9, 11

The $27 tickets for the performances noted above will be available for purchase online from 9 a.m. until midnight. From Noon to 6 p.m. the discounted tickets may be purchased by phone at 617-266-0800 or in person at the Huntington’s Boston University Theatre Box Office, 264 Huntington Avenue, and the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA Box Office, 527 Tremont Street.

Tickets to all performances of all Huntington productions, as well as “Adam Pascal Live” and Carrie Fisher in “Wishful Drinking,” the first two Huntington Presents offerings, also go on sale to the general public on August 19, and may be purchased online, by phone, and in person as listed above.
