Theatre Presents "ENCORE!!" Boston’s noted Chamber Theatre Productions, now in its 31st season of presenting theater for young audiences, returns to the Berklee Performance Center on Friday, May 30, to close out the company's spring tour of "ENCORE!!" Performance time is 10:30 a.m. "ENCORE!!" dramatizes five famous short stories by renowned writers Edgar Allan Poe, Washington Irving, W. W. Jacobs, Guy de Maupassant and Mark Twain. During the past season, Chamber Theatre presented "ENCORE!!" in 146 cities across 40 states. The
program at Berklee will include: “The Tell Tale Heart,”
by Edgar Allan Poe, bringing audiences under floorboards and into the
paranoid mind of a murderer; “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,”
featuring Washington Irving’s Headless Horsemen terrorizing upstate
New York in 1790; “The Monkey’s Paw” (at
left) W. W. Jacob’s chilling cautionary tale of a cursed object;
Guy de Maupassant’s famous “The Necklace;”
and Mark Twain’s comical outing, “The Celebrated Jumping
