For 26th Annual Elliot Norton Awards
2008 Ceremones To Be Held At Sanders Theatre
The
Elliot Norton Awards, which recognize excellence in Greater Boston
theater, will celebrate their 26th anniversary at ceremonies to be held
at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 12, at Harvard University’s Sanders
Theatre located at 45 Quincy Street in Cambridge. The awards are named
in memory of esteemed drama critic, Elliot Norton.
Among the highlights of this year's awards will be the presentation
of the 2008 Elliot Norton Prize for Sustained Excellence
to outgoing Huntington Theatre Company Artistic Director Nicholas
Martin. He will be introduced by Tony, Emmy, and Drama Desk Award
winning actress Andrea Martin.
