Chamber Repertory Theatre
Celebrates 30th Anniversary

Boston's nationally acclaimed Chamber Theatre Productions will launch its 30th anniversary season with a tour traveling to 135 cities in almost 40 states.

On Friday, September 29, CRT will present "Encore!" at John Hancock Hall in Boston. "Encore!" dramatizes five famous short stories by such time-honored masters as Edgar Allen Poe, Washington Irving and Mark Twain.

For the past three decades, Chamber Theatre Productions has been breathing new life into the time-honored works of well-known authors, adapting the originals into professionally staged theatrical productions.

Throughout its successful history, Chamber Theatre Productions has thrived under the guidance of its producing director Spring Sirkin, a Tony Award winner (1996) for producing Terrence McNally's "Master Class" and a Tony nominee for productions of Arthur Miller's "Broken Glass," "The Ride Down Mt. Morgan," August Wilson's "King Hedley II," Bryony Lavery's "Frozen" and this past season's presentation of Brian Friel's "Faith Healer." She was also a producer of the London production of Friel's "The Home Place."
