Jonathan Epstein To Host
Annual Shakespeare Sonnet-Thon

For the fourth year in a row, Jonathan Epstein will serve as Master of Ceremonies for Shakespeare Now! Theatre Company's Boston's Shakespeare Sonnet-Thon, to be presented at the Boston Public Library on April 5.

One of the area's foremost Shakespearean actors, Epstein will be performing the role of Iago in Boston Theatre Works' February production of  "Othello."

Linda Lowy, Founding Artistic Director of Shakespeare Now!, says, "Epstein is the natural choice as Sonnet-master for this annual marathon.  His Sonnet class at Shakespeare & Company was for years a highlight of their training program, and he spends part of every year lecturing and presenting the Sonnets across the USA. "

Lowy devised the event in an effort to draw the local community together to perform and enjoy the sonnets.

The Fourth Annual Boston Shakespeare Sonnet-thon will take place at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, in the Rabb Lecture Hall at the Boston Public Library in Copley Square. Admission is free and the general public is invited to perform or recite the sonnet of their choice.

To participate, call Shakespeare Now! at 781-326-3643 or email  info@shakespearenow.org.
