"Fame" Auditions at North Shore

North Shore Music Theatre is auditioning teen-age boys and girls who sing, dance or play musical instruments for various speaking and non-speaking roles for the theatre's upcoming production of "Fame." Auditions will be held on Sunday, March 20, as follows:  dancers will be seen at 1 p.m.; singers at 2:30 p.m.; and teenagers who play musical instruments at 4:30 p.m. All auditions will be held at the Theatre Arts and Education Building directly behind the theatre at 62 Dunham Road in Beverly.

Performers will be allowed to participate in more than one phase of the audition process. Singers should prepare a short song of their choice and provide their own sheet music. A pianist will be provided. Dancers should bring appropriate shoes, i.e. tap, jazz, ballet slipper & toe. Rehearsals are scheduled for May 14 - 30. Performances are set for May 31 - June 19.
