Goodspeed Opera House
Offers Video Interviews On Website

Innovative things always seem to be happening at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Connecticut.

Word comes, that for the first time, video interviews with the members of Goodspeed’s creative teams, can be seen on the company’s website. Director James Brennan (“Call Me Madam”), Choreographer Lisa Shriver (“Where’s Charley”) and Director Tony Walton (“Where’s Charley”) can all be seen giving their thoughts on the productions they worked on, as well as on their experiences while working at Goodspeed.

All videos can be accessed by visiting www.goodspeed.org. Interviews and production video clips have been made possible by a grant from SBC Excelerator Competitive Grants Program. As time goes by, the archive of interviews and clips will grow.

The production video clips, in particular, allow patrons to preview a show and gain a deeper understanding of the production before they attend a performance. As well, the theater encourages teachers and students to use the video clips in tandem with the Goodspeed’s “Musical Notes” study guide for each production.
