"Club
Nights" at Huntington Theatre
Enhance
the Experience
Night
Club and Out & About Club, both introduced
last season to much applause at The Huntington Theatre Company,
will continue again for the 2002-2003 season.
Night Club, for theatergoers 35 and under,
and Out & About Club, for the gay, lesbian,
bisexual and transgendered community, are special nights at the
theater offering folks the opportunity to get to know their fellow theatergoers
and to mingle with the artistic team and or members of the cast at a pre
or post show reception. Each evening is accompanied by a unique “Behind
The Scenes” look at some element of the production they
attended. The receptions are free with the purchase of a ticket on that
evening.
Last season, club members met with “Betty’s Summer
Vacation” star Andrea Martin (now starring
on Broadway in “Oklahoma”), enjoyed a tour
led by director Darko Tresnjak, took part in a paint-shop
party held in the theater's scenic shop and a had rare chance to step
on stage and meet and mingle with “Richard Nixon”
and “Henry Kissinger.”
