"He She Them"
Stars Judd Nelson and Tasha Lawrence
In World Premiere At The Shubert

"He She Them," a new play about falling on love, will have its world premiere at The Shubert Theatre from September 30 - October 12. Starring Judd Nelson and Tasha Lawrence and written by Irwin M. Heller, the play provides an unconventional look at relationships.

The production will also introduce a new black box style theatre configuration at The Shubert, designed to create an intimate relationship between the audience and the performers.

“He” is a successful, single real estate developer.

“She” is a married architect designing one of his buildings.

Flirtation grows to friendship and the possibility of love. As He and She decide on what’s to become of Them, they are forced to examine the sometimes uncomfortable realities of their true feelings.

Judd Nelson, no stranger to the theatre, studied with Stella Adler and has performed in acclaimed productions of “The Cocktail Hour” with Estelle Parsons, “Carnal Knowledge,” “Wrestlers,” “Orphans” and “The Seagull.” He made his mark in the film world starring in the classic coming-of-age film, “The Breakfast Club,” along with a starring role in “St. Elmo’s Fire.” On television, he starred with Brook Shields in the NBC comedy “Suddenly Susan.”

Tasha Lawrence is a graduate of The Circle In The Square Theatre School in New York and made her Broadway debut in the Tony nominated “Wilder, Wilder, WIlder.” She also co-starred in the National Tour of the Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning play, “Proof.” She has the recurring role of Detective Kyser on NBC’s “Third Watch.”

The production is being directed by Steven Maler, founding Artistic Director of the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and Resident Director at The Wang Center for the Performing Arts. He most recently directed “Macbeth” on Boston Common.

Tickets are available at the Shubert box office, 265 Tremont Street in Boston, or by calling 800-447-7400.
