At Jimmy Tingle's Off Broadway

Jimmy Tingle's Off-Broadway and storyteller Tony Toledo are collaborating to present a special Storytelling WinterFest December 26 - 31. Performance time is 11 A.M. and all seats are $5 per person (both adults and kids) for 45 minutes of great stories for great kids (and their parents). Jimmy Tingle's Off-Broadway is located at 255 Elm Street in Somerville.

The Storytelling schedule is as follows:

Friday Dec 26, 2004 -- 11 AM
Tony Toledo presents "Tales from Toledo" -- the tale of a young boy's attempt to be good on the way to the store and all the silly things that happen to him.  

Saturday Dec 27, 2004 -- 11 AM
KR Glickman presents "Growing Up Deaf In A Hearing World." KR was born Deaf.  She was born a natural storyteller,as well. 

Sunday Dec 28, 2004 -- 11 AM
Mark Binder will share "The Everything Bedtime Storybook Tales" despite the fact thrt you'll be listening in the morning. From The Brothers Schemiel to The Brothers Grimm, Mark's booming voice and open heart pull listeners into his tales.

Monday Dec 29, 2004 -- 11 AM
Magdalen Cantwell will share "Irish Tales for the Season". Growing up in Ireland, Magdalen was surrounded by stories like "How The Wren Became the King of the Birds." Magdalen will paint a word picture so sharp, you will actually see "The Selfish Giant" right in your mind's eye. 

Tuesday Dec 30, 2004 -- 11 AM
Libby Frank presents "Trickery and Wit." Libby's stories celebrate the triumph of the heart through courage, wit and trickery. From myth to lady pirates, his characters will echo within you long after the last "happily ever after."

Wed Dec 31, 2004 -- 11 AM
Merrill Kohlhofer tells "The Over Crowded House." Come hear about a house full of chickens, cows and snoring relatives.
