Calling All Performance-Loving Kids

The Camp Broadway kids are set to perform "When Hope Was There" honoring Bob Hope at the 77th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Boston-area kids aged 14-18 are invited to audition for this unique opportunity.

100 of the most talented will be selected at auditions to be held in New York on Saturday, October 11th, and in Providence, Rhode Island, on Monday, October 13th.

In addition to paying tribute to the popular comedian and his work with the USO, the participanting kids will also have the opportunity to partake in workshops and classes in comedy, dance, make-up and performance.

Audition details are as follows.

New York City
Saturday, October 11th
Nola Rehearsal Studios
250 West 54th Street, 11th Floor (between 6th & 7th Avenues)
10 a.m. - Ages 14-18

Providence
Monday, October 13th
Providence Performing Arts Center - 220 Weybosset Street
10 a.m. - Ages 14-18

All applicants should arrive with a completed application form (see below), be prepared to learn a dance routine and sing 16 bars of a song of their choice. If accepted, there’s a participation fee of $425.00 (not including costume).
